Betty graduated from the University of California San Diego with a degree in Physiology and Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology. She obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of California San Francisco.
Prior to becoming a physical therapist, she worked as a lab assistant for a clinical care and imaging research program related to musculoskeletal diseases. Her compassion for people and love for science drew her into this field. She has experience treating individuals from various backgrounds, but enjoys working with the orthopedic population the most. In her spare time she enjoys playing volleyball and basketball and spending time with her dog. Her goal is to become a pelvic health therapist.
