COVID-19: Learn the precautions SpineZone is taking for safe in-person visits and about our Tele-health services

Emily Ertel

Emily received her B.S in Kinesiology with a Concentration in Exercise Science from Sonoma State University in 2013. She worked as a PT Aide for a few years in the outpatient setting helping individuals through their exercise programs and rehab journey. She decided to return to school and completed the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Pima Medical Institute in 2021. Since then, she has been able to work closely with many different spinal injuries/diagnoses, and gain knowledge and skills to improve patients’ overall function and quality of life.
Emily has always wanted a career where she is able to help others, and genuinely enjoys the one-on-one connections she makes with each individual. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two kids. When she is not busy with her two little ones, she also enjoys any form of working out, hiking, the beach, and basically anything involving the outdoors (unless it involves big spiders).
